New: Sister Asay Audio

On the afternoon of Saturday March 29th, 2008, my wife and I visited Sister Asay at her home in Bountiful, Utah.   She had told me on the phone that she would not be able to attend our reunion so I wanted to visit her to be able to report to the missionaries her condition.  She is somewhat feeble, and her memory suffers.   She has a nurse come to her home daily to assist with medications and other needs.  Her children attend to her daily.  In typical form, there was not a hair out of place as she has a hair dresser do her hair weekly.  We had a delightful visit.  I asked if I could record a message for the missionaries.  She agreed.  I started out by asking how she was doing.  Enjoy her comments by pushing the play button above.  - - Elder David Swenson

WHAT A WONDERFUL REUNION.  THANKS !

This was our 34th consecutive reunion. We had a wonderful time with over 70 people in attendance.  Several traveled from Canada, California and other long distances.   There were some who had never been to a reunion before.  Thanks to everyone who attended.  

Elder Eric Armstrong and his wife Sandi provided an amazing Prime Rib dinner for all.  We had a delightful testimony meeting in the chapel that was a spiritual feast.  All there were deeply touched by the testimonies of our associates.  It brought back memories of testimony meetings at Zone Conferences.   At the end we sang the mission song with vigor.   There was lots of visiting and some remained until well after 11:00PM.  

Plan on attending our reunion next year on Friday April 3, 2009 at the same location.
