Facing Tapes:

Pressure-sensitive tape used to match insulation facings and to patch tears which may occur during installation.

Typically 3" x 60 yd.

Double-Faced Tapes:

Tape used to attach insulation to framing members during installation, or for fastening tabs.

Typically 1 ½” x 60 yd.

 

Transfer Tapes:

Tape for the hard to stick areas or cold surfaces.  This tape is also used to attach insulation to framing members during installation. 

Typically 1 ½” x 60 yd.
